Position: Advisory Circle
Vineeta Durani joined CFHI’s board in December 2015, and subsequently joined the Advisory Circle. She has more than 15 years of experience in communications for technology brands and is currently Vice President of Communications for IBM’s Global Analytics business. She previously led communications for ‘Smarter Cities’ forums hosted by IBM in Berlin, New Delhi, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai and Santiago, to help establish a voice for progressive city leaders who have successfully modernized city systems to drive economic growth, operational efficiency and sustainable development. Vineeta also served as a member of IBM’s Executive Service Corps in 2013, providing volunteer consulting services to help the City of Trujillo, Peru develop strategies to improve its public safety infrastructure. Vineeta has a BA in American Studies and Photography from the University of California at Berkeley.
