CFHI Alumnus
Guido has shown a genuine passion for Public Health since the beginning of his medical studies. Before his graduation he was selected from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a delegate to the International Organizations in Geneva. During that experience he started to develop a growing interest for the field of Global Health and, once he became a certified Medical Doctor, he went to Bolivia for a pediatrics volunteer programme organized by Child Family Health International.
When he moved back to Europe he underwent a medical residency in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine. During the programme he has worked for local health institutions as well as international ones (ECDC, WHO-EURO), focusing primarily on the control of infectious diseases.
He is currently based in Mozambique as the Coordinator for Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting for CUAMM-Doctors with Africa, working on two projects focusing on Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health, and HIV and nutritional services.
