Sarah is a graduate student at University of Michigan pursuing her Masters of Public Health in Global Health Epidemiology. Prior to this, Sarah attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Global Health in May of 2024. After traveling to Dehradun, India with CFHI in early 2023, she was inspired to continue global travel and has since worked in community health in Roatán, Honduras in January of 2024 and has served as an Alumni Advisor for CFHI’s Dehradun & Rural Himalayas program. Sarah is passionate about maternal and child healthcare, overcoming structural barriers in public health, and increasing accessibility to healthcare globally. Outside of work and her studies, she enjoys playing saxophone, camping, traveling, and ballroom dance.
