Dr. Loeliger is a family physician whose global health experience began from his work in the Peace Corps in Fiji in 1979. Dr. Loeliger currently works at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, California, where he wears several hats as the director of the Mark Stinson Fellowship in Global Heath and Underserved Medicine. He also serves on a team overseeing family practice residents, and he is a member of the OB-GYN department. Dr. Loeliger also holds the position of Program Director for Global Health through Education and Training (GHETS) where he works to develop family medicine and primary healthcare in international settings. In addition to Fiji, his international work has taken him to a number of countries including Guatemala, Kenya, and Somalia.
